I work from private practice located in Cople, Bedfordshire. This location is accessible by car from other parts of Bedfordshire, Milton Keynes, Hertfordshire and Northamptonshire.

I also work online and via telephone dependant on your needs.

During my counselling career I have worked with the NHS, a Child and Adolescent Bereavement Service and with Rape Crisis, all of which have afforded me in depth experience with children, adolescents and adults experiencing bereavement, grief, loss, relational issues and trauma. I am experienced in working with extreme emotions and those that find it difficult to communicate feelings and emotions.

My own counselling journey started as a client, I wanted to understand myself better, have a better understanding of my place in the world around me and explore my own life experiences more closely. Before embarking on my journey in becoming a counsellor I have worked within the NHS both in emergency and urgent care, this work highlighted to me the keen interest I developed in mental health and wanted to enhance my skills, knowledge and experience to help others in a different way. As part of this I am constantly learning and developing my own skills, continued professional development helps me to develop and learn about specific needs of a client or cover specific areas that may be affecting my clients, such as cultural issues, problems that have arisen around diversity and/or other elements in the clients life around, work, family and relationships. By doing this it enhances all of the work I engage in but also assists my clients to really feel heard and understood. These area of development are of great importance to me.
